David Carmichael developed this 15-minute online talk to raise public awareness about the legal requirement for doctors to obtain informed consent from patients before prescribing a drug, which rarely happens. Some of the reasons why are explained on the Champions for Change page. His talk will be guided by the four slides below.
Putting partisan politics aside, this talk will help people understand the significance of the decades long overdue messages that Robert F. Kennedy Jr. delivered during his February 13, 2025 swearing in ceremony as secretary of health and human services for the federal government in the United States. If his immediate plans are executed, they would unquestionably improve the global medical system, significantly.
Secretary Kennedy told the media that his immediate plans are to end corruption and corporate capture of the Food and Drug Administation (FDA) and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), remove people from FDA and CDC panels with conflicts of interest (e.g., pharmaceutical company consultants), and when asked about vaccines, he stated that “everybody should have informed consent,” which people need to understand when it comes to vaccines and prescription drugs.
